When greasing up your Dexter Heavy-Duty Suspension Kit # K71-449-00 either taking the weight off of the suspension or taking the weight off will work.
For the Dexter Suspension Kit I would recommend using The LubriMatic Multi-Purpose Lithium Grease - 14 oz. Cartridge # L11315. It works best for lubricating rolling parts and it has a drop point of 350 degrees.
